Mr. Shapiro represents plaintiffs in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death and medical negligence. He began the firm more than twenty years ago and limits his practice to passionately representing and trying cases for only those clients who have been catastrophically injured, and does not represent corporations and insurance companies. He is admitted to the Connecticut and Florida Bars and the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida.

He is an active member and Past President of the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers and the Southern Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Shapiro is a FLAG Trustee, an EAGLE Founder, and served on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors through 2001. He has served on the Board of Governors of the American Association for Justice (formerly the Association of Trial Lawyers of America) from 1997 until 2001. He has received numerous awards, including the Masters in Trial, the Jon. E. Krupnick Award for Perseverance and the Crystal Eagle Award.
